Atlanta sends Hotshots to second straight loss

March 5, 2019

Younghoe Koo kicked two fourth-quarter field goals, including the game-winner from 33 yards out with 1:03 left in the game, as the Atlanta Legends picked up their first win of the season Sunday with a 14-11 victory over the Arizona Hotshots at Sun Devil Stadium. The Hotshots dropped to 2-2 on the season and are now in a three-way tie for first place in the western conference with San Diego and San Antonio. Koo had given the Legends an 11-3 lead with 13:34 remaining in the final quarter. However, the Hotshots tied the game with 5:20 remaining following a Deion Holliman punt return of 39 yards to the Atlanta 44-yard line. After running back Jhurell Pressley, who rushed for 110 yards in the game on 14 carries, had gains of nine and 10 yards, Hotshots quarterback John Wolford hit wide receiver Josh Huff for five yards and then wide receiver Rashad Ross for a 20-yard touchdown. A two-point conversion pass from Wolford to wide receiver Marquis Bundy tied the game at 11.
