GALVESTON, Texas (AP) — Galveston police are searching for a man who shot and wounded two juveniles during an altercation following a minor car accident.

The Galveston County Daily News ( ) reports that police said the shooting happened Friday evening after two cars collided.

Witnesses told police that an adult man got out of one of the cars and was assaulted by two teenage boys who were passengers in the other car. Police said the adult man then retrieved a handgun his car and fired several shots through the windshield of the other car.

Police say the shooter then fled.

Police say the driver of the other car took the wounded boys to a hospital, where one was listed in critical condition and one was listed in stable condition on Saturday morning.
