Douglas falls to Hidden Valley, 78-40

WINSTON — Douglas struggled on offense in a lopsided 78-40 nonleague boys basketball loss to visiting Hidden Valley Tuesday.

Joe Blanton and Ezra McLean led the Mustangs (5-3) with 14 points each, while Jeremiah Noga added 13.

The Trojans (2-5) were led by Braeden Edwards with 12 points. Erich Hoque hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight points in his most productive night of the season.

Douglas will attempt to end its losing streak against Siuslaw at the Dunes Holiday Invitational in Bandon on Thursday.
