NH Man Accused of Abducting Ex-Wife
LOWELL, Mass. (AP) _ Authorities on Monday arrested a man accused of abducting his ex-wife from her workplace, a shelter for women and children in crisis in New Hampshire.
Police arrested 49-year-old Gary Collinge and found his ex-wife, 46-year-old Marguerite Eno, apparently unharmed, according to Nashua, N.H., police Lt. Wayne MacDonald. He said tips from unidentified relatives led police to their location, which was not disclosed.
Lowell police refused to provide further details of the arrest.
Police said Collinge abducted Eno at gunpoint Sunday night from Marguerite’s Place in Nashua. Nashua Detective Sgt. Frank Paison said four shots were fired as she was dragged but were apparently not aimed at anyone.
Lowell is about 12 miles south of Nashua.
