Longmont Police Seek Witnesses of Crashes at Ken Pratt, County Line

A driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after his vehicle broadsided another at Ken Pratt Boulevard and East County Line Road at 3 a.m. Nov. 23. Police are asking that any witnesses to the crash come forward.

Longmont police are asking witnesses of two serious crashes that happened within the past week to come forward and speak with officers.

Police also have released photos of both crashes.

The first crash occurred around 3 a.m. Nov. 23 at the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard and East County Line Road. One person was hospitalized with serious injuries.

A man driving west on Ken Pratt Boulevard had a green light to cross East County Line Road. He told Longmont police that he was broadsided by a vehicle heading southbound through the intersection. The southbound driver was taken to the hospital.

The second crash took place around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday near the same intersection. One person was hospitalized with serious leg injuries.

Police said the driver of a pickup, who was later hospitalized, was driving west on East Ken Pratt Boulevard when he rear-ended a semitrailer that was stopped for a traffic light.

Police are asking anyone who saw either crash but has yet to speak with police officers to call 303-774-4861.
