Two people were injured in an accident at 7:50 a.m. Friday on Stutzmantown Road in Somerset Township.
State police said Sherry Shroyer, 47, of Berlin, was driving north on Pleasant Hill Road as Melinda Faidley, 38, of Shanksville, was traveling west on Stutzmantown Road. Police said Shroyer failed to stop at a stop sign and hit Faidley’s vehicle, which was pushed into a utility pole and flipped onto its roof.
Both drivers were transported to Somerset Hospital for injuries. Listie and Friedens fire departments and Somerset Ambulance responded.
