RCM leads efforts to support community

January 18, 2019

The mission of Retirement Center Management (RCM) is to not only serve seniors but to play an active role in the communities it serves. Every year, RCM leads efforts to organize company-wide fundraisers benefitting non-profits. In 2018, RCM supported Habitat for Humanity, AniMeals, Foster Grandparents and The Alzheimer’s Association.

RCM’s fundraising and charitable work for 2018 was phenomenal, as RCM communities collected over 1,800 pounds of pet food for AniMeals, assisted in the building of a beautiful new home for a well-deserving family for Habitat for Humanity, and helped sponsor The Foster Grandparents Appreciation Luncheon.

RCM’s most significant fundraising effort was for the Alzheimer’s Association. Under the direction of Robyn Clement, RCM beat its fundraising goal of $50,000 and raised over $90,000, making it a top five sponsor for the Greater Southeast Chapter. In fact, RCM more than tripled the amount allocated for the Alzheimer’s Association from previous years.

Because RCM keeps its eye on the future, it is a goal to raise $100,000 for 2019.

RCM’s commitment in being an active member in the community, truly exemplifies the spirit and generosity of its employees and RCM looks forward to a bigger and better 2019.
