NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts man charged with stabbing another man multiple times while he was hanging onto a truck driven by his brother has been held without bail.

The Berkshire Eagle (http://bit.ly/28TSsvm ) reports that 23-year-old Dylan Litchfield, of Peru, has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder in the June 13 incident. A North Adams judge on Wednesday ordered him held as a dangerous person.

Thomas Peterson told police that he and two others drove to meet Litchfield and his brother to retrieve keys they had allegedly stolen from his sister.

He says Litchfield punched him when he walked up to the truck. He says Litchfield's brother began to drive away with Peterson holding on from the outside. Litchfield allegedly stabbed him as he held on.

Litchfield's attorney painted Peterson as the aggressor.
