Mark your calendars: Dec. 29 is Brundage mountain classic holiday party
McCALL — Head to Brundage Mountain on Saturday, Dec. 29th for “a spectacle of light and community spirit.” It’s “the event of the season and free,” said a press release about the event.
The holiday party features a Torchlight Parade, “Aglow on the Snow” kids walking parade and a slope-side Fireworks Show. Spectators can stay warm around one of the plaza-level firepits or head inside the main lodge for food and drink.
Chairlifts close at 4:30 p.m. and the Kids Walking Parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Torchlight Parade. Fireworks launch immediately after the parades. The public is invited to participate in the parades but you must reserve a spot in advance to be in the Torchlight Parade.
A free shuttle service is available the night of the party (space available). The Brundage Express offers expanded service with shuttles departing Brundage Mountain for McCall at 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., with return service to McCall at 6, 7 and 8 p.m..
