Horseshoe Leadership Center seeks college volunteers for camp

PARSONS, W.Va. — Local college and university students looking for a summer volunteer position can check into the Horseshoe Leadership Center. The Center is looking for college-age students who want to use skills, energy, and passion for shaping a better world by influencing today’s teens and children.

Horseshoe summer camp counselors strive to make a difference in the lives of campers. Each week adds experiences to help campers grow, with an ultimate goal being for them to return home ready to serve others, and build better futures.

Horseshoe’s summer season includes nationally recognized teen civic leadership and entrepreneurship camps, Adventure Camp is available for ages 7 through 12, and Youth Opportunity Camps also allow attendance to the summer camp for low-income boys and girls. Camps consist of a science and mathematics camp, and a youth church camp.

Summer positions provide a living allowance, meals and lodging.
