PHOENIX (AP) — The Latest on a large fire at a Phoenix supermarket (all times local):

7:10 p.m.

The fire raging at a west-central Phoenix supermarket is now a three-alarm blaze.

Crews from the Glendale Fire Department have joined Phoenix Fire personnel to battle the blaze that broke out during a monsoon storm around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

There's no immediate reports of any injuries.

Authorities say it's unclear if the Safeway supermarket on 35th Avenue and Northern Avenue was struck by lightning.

Phoenix Fire crews say they responded to a report of a roof collapse at the supermarket with a possible fire associated with the collapse reportedly in the back of the large store.

Television footage showed the supermarket completely engulfed in flames with a huge plume of black smoke over part of the city.
