CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Corey Cobb intercepted two passes for touchdowns Saturday as Austin Peay scored four times on turnovers in the third quarter to beat Tennessee-Martin 36-26.

Cobb also had eight tackles and broke up an attempted Austin Peay touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

Both teams came into the game without a victory. Tennessee-Martin improves to 1-10. The Governors are 0-10.

Fifty-three of the game’s 62 points were scored in the third quarter. Jef Sherrill of Tennessee-Martin intercepted a pass at 14:45 and ran it back for a touchdown. After Cobb’s two touchdowns, Terrance Smith ran back an Austin Peay punt 54 yards for another Skyhawk touchdown with 28 seconds left.

The Governors scored during the third quarter on two short runs by Travis Adams, and a 37-yard touchdown pass from Dustin Bowling to Frank Escobar.

Eddie Winslow kicked a field goal for Tennessee-Martin in the first quarter. Bowling passed for another Austin Peay score to cap scoring at 11:29 in the fourth.

Austin Peay had possession for 35:22 of the game and passed for 229 yards, compared to 85 for Tennessee-Martin.
