Michael T. Hudson named chief executive officer of Hudson Foods
ROGERS, Ark. (AP) _ The founder of Hudson Foods Inc. has named his son, Michael T. Hudson, president and chief executive officer of the $1.4 billion company.
Michael Hudson was formerly president and chief operating officer.
``I can’t think of a better time to promote my son than on his 50th birthday,″ said founder James T. Hudson, who will remain as chairman of the board.
A 1969 graduate of the University of Alabama, the younger Hudson has been with Hudson Foods since its founding in 1972.
Hudson Foods operates 14 processing facilities in 11 states and employs more than 11,000 people.
