Judge’s Ruling is for the Birds
MIAMI (AP) _ The verdict in a squabble over the rowdy squawking of two macaws and a cockatoo was for the birds.
Circuit Judge Philip Bloom ruled Wednesday that Ira and Judith Zager can keep the birds, despite neighbors’ complaints the pets are too loud.
Bloom went to the Zagers’ home last week to hear the birds for himself, but they were silent. The judge said he found no other evidence the birds were keeping neighbors awake or endangering their health.
What’s more, the judge wrote, the neighbors should make up and get on with life.
