Jail deputy pleads guilty to sex misconduct with 2 inmates
VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A former corrections deputy has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two women detained in 2017 at the Clark County Jail.
The Columbian reports 31-year-old Christopher A. North pleaded guilty in Clark County Superior Court Thursday to second-degree custodial sexual misconduct, indecent exposure and other charges.
According to a probable cause affidavit, in March 2017, North led a woman to a private room and walked in on her after instructing her to change her clothing. Later, court records say North exposed himself and began masturbating while looking at the woman.
In July 2017, court records say North brought another female inmate to a private space in the jail, where he instructed her to change, entered the room and masturbated on her.
He is set to be sentenced in February.
