Benefit pairs ‘Lion King’ cast with Spokane AIDS Network

January 23, 2019

In the middle of their run at the First Interstate Center for the Arts, the cast of “The Lion King” will take off their costumes and trade songs like “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Hakuna Matata” for their favorite non-“Lion King” material, all in the name of AIDS awareness.

“The Lion Sings Tonight,” a night of song and dance, will also feature silent auctions, opportunities to join the cast backstage and other “Lion King” experiences.

Proceeds from “The Lion Sings Tonight” benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Spokane AIDS Network.

VIP tickets include preferred seating and a meet-and-greet with cast members.
