Jake Eddy brings younger generation of WV music talent to Huntington
Hailing from the Parkersburg area of West Virginia, along the Ohio River, guitarist Jake Eddy represents the younger generation of Mountain State musicians who are making their mark. A whiz on the six-string, 19-year-old Eddy just completed his first year as a bachelor of arts in music major at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Despite his young age, Eddy is a gifted guitarist that is sought out for his studio session work as well as for live shows by his group, the Jake Eddy Gypsy Jazz Trio.
The Jake Eddy Gypsy Jazz Trio performs at Black Sheep Stage this Friday, May 24. The show begins at 9 p.m. and will be free and open to all ages. Black Sheep Stage is located at 279 9th St. in Huntington.
