Highway Patrol is asking for help with information in Aiken County hit and run

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information about a hit and run collision with a pedestrian in Aiken County on Saturday.

Troopers responded to Wire Road near Willis Hill Road in Aiken County on Saturday morning after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., according to a release.

The pedestrian was injured and taken to a nearby hospital to be treated, the release states.

The type of suspect vehicle is unknown at this time, possibly white in color, and possible damage to the front of the vehicle, troopers said.
