FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Karyn Karlin scored 18 points as No. 14 Arkansas defeated Baylor 75-64 Tuesday night.

The game was tied 31-31 at halftime, but Arkansas (5-1) took command early in the second half with a 13-3 run that included four points by Karlin.

Baylor (1-2) rallied to pull within 43-40, but Arkansas then pulled away and took a 16-point lead with 9:05 left.

Arkansas opened the game with a 5-0 run, but Baylor went ahead 8-7 and the teams exchanged the lead twice more before ending the half tied.

Lara Webb and Monica Arnold each scored 13 points for Baylor.

Tennille Adams added 15 points for Arkansas.
