Zoning change approved for Legacy Bend Addition

September 20, 2018

NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council approved a zoning change at its meeting Monday.

City Planner Val Grimes told council members Innate Development LLC is requesting a change from one and two family residential to multiple family residential on property located a half mile south of the intersection of Benjamin Avenue and Victory Road.

Grimes said this is part of the Legacy Bend addition, and this request cleans up the zoning line pertaining to the different lots.

She said the developers now know where the apartments and road will be.

Grimes said the addition as a whole is going to be a mix of single and multiple family.

The council voted unanimously to approve the zoning change on all three readings.

She said the addition as a whole is going to be a mix of single and multiple family.
