Longmont Police Notes: Stabbing Investigated

Longmont police responded to Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday to assist another agency with a stabbing originally occurring outside of Longmont near U.S. 287 and Pike Road. After an investigation a man and woman were later arrested on multiple charges.

Longmont officers were dispatched Thursday to a menacing in the 1300 block of Iowa Avenue. A 30-year-old man menaced a 43-year-old-man. The 30-year-old man was issued a summons.

Longmont officers conducted a traffic stop Wednesday with a vehicle for driving with no headlights in the 20th block of Main Street. A man was issued a summons.

Longmont police were dispatched about 10:30 p.m. Thursday to contact a woman by phone reference license plates stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of S. Hover Road.

A report was taken by Longmont officers reference an identity theft which did not occur in Longmont. The case is closed.

At about 4 p.m. Aug. 1 , Longmont officers received a report of a possible restraining order violation in the 000 block of 9th Avenue. The case is open and under investigation.
