LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Latest on a report of an armed man at a Los Angeles hospital (all times local):

A search and evacuation of a Los Angeles hospital triggered by a report of an armed man has ended.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says the search Thursday did not locate a suspect inside Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, and the investigation is continuing.

Deputy Guillermina Saldana says the call about a man with a gun came in shortly after 9 a.m. She says there were no reports of shots fired.

Television news footage showed a crowd of people including some in wheelchairs and on gurneys leaving the hospital on the north edge of the city.
