ASAP quilt raffle to help shelter animals

HUNTINGTON - Advocates Saving Adoptable Pets (ASAP) is having a fundraiser to purchase medicines such as flea treatment and wormers for the animals upon intake at the shelter.

Christine Emerson made and donated a quilt (77 1/2 by 85 inches) specifically for ASAP to raise money for the homeless animals at the shelter. Emerson has given her generosity to help raise funds.

Raffle tickets are one for $10 or three for $15. Tickets can be purchased at Bella’s Consignment Store at 1103 20th St. in Huntington or through the PayPal address: advocates4321@yahoo.com. Checks to help further donations can be mailed to ASAP, PO Box 1621, Htgn, WV 25717.

Drawing for the Quilt Raffle is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at ASAP’s New Year Adoption Event at the Civic Center at 3 p.m.
