TEMPE, Arizona (AP) — UCLA's Ishmael Adams returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and an interception 95 yards for another score, sparking a 62-27 trouncing of Arizona State in college football on Thursday.

UCLA had won its first three games of the season narrowly against non-ranked opponents but rose to the occasion in a clash of the past two champions of the Pac-12 South conference.

Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley returned from an arm injury to throw for 355 yards and four touchdowns.

UCLA had 582 total yards and scored the most points by an opponent in the 55-year history of Sun Devil Stadium.

After leading 17-6 in the second quarter, Arizona State fell apart with four turnovers and a rash of defensive miscues.

In Thursday's other match of top-25 ranked teams, Oklahoma State beat Texas Tech 45-35.

Daxx Garman threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns, completing 17 of 31 passes and running for a score in his second start since stepping in for the injured J.W. Walsh.

Marcell Ateman had career highs of six catches and 130 yards, James Washington had three catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns, and Desmond Roland ran for 86 yards and a score for Oklahoma State.

Texas Tech quarterback Davis Webb passed for 374 yards and four touchdowns before leaving the game in the fourth quarter because of a shoulder injury.

The Red Raiders haven't won at Oklahoma State since 2001.
