Exxon Mobil Corp., up 29 cents at $37.12

Banc of American Securities raised its rating on Exxon Mobil to ``buy″ from ``neutral.″

Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc., up 75 cents at $29.19

Bear Stearns upgraded Fairchild Semiconductor to ``outperform″ from ``peer perform.″

Motorola Inc., down 11 cents at $10.62

Morgan Stanley lowered its rating on Motorola to ``equal-weight″ from ``overweight.″


Corinthian Colleges Inc., down $2.11 at $53.90

The for-profit post-secondary education company posted fourth-quarter earnings of 39 cents a share, beating analysts’ expectations by 2 cents.

3Com Corp., up 22 cents at $5.64

US Bancorp Piper Jaffray raised its rating on 3Com, which makes networking hardware and software, to ``market perform″ from ``underperform.″

Xoma Ltd., down $26 cents at $9.49

Fulcrum lowered its rating on drugmaker Xoma to ``neutral″ from ``buy.″
