Lawyer Named Sons’ Toastmaster

A Dunmore lawyer will be the toastmaster at the 114th annual dinner of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Lackawanna County. John T. “Jack” McGrath Jr. will offer remarks and manage the program during the organization’s gathering on March 16 at Genetti Manor in Dickson City, said Christopher O. McGrath, president of the association and brother of the toastmaster. Jack McGrath is managing partner in the Scranton office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Coggin, which is based in Philadelphia, and he is co-chairman of the firm’s auto liability practice group. He is a graduate of Dunmore High School, Penn State University and the Delaware University School of Law. He formerly worked in law enforcement for the Lackawanna County Sheriff’s Department. McGrath’s grandfather, former U.S. Rep. Harry P. O’Neill, served as president of the Friendly Sons. He is active in legal and civic organizations. McGrath lives in Dunmore with his wife, the former Suzanne Ford. They are the parents of five children.
