COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) _ Kyle Campbell scored his school record 50th goal of the season with 27 seconds remaining, giving Towson a 12-11 win over Maryland Sunday in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division I lacrosse tournament.

It was the fourth goal of the game for Campbell, who also had an assist for the Tigers (14-3). Sixth-seeded Towson, advancing to the semifinals for the first time since 1991, will meet Princeton Saturday at Rutgers.

Towson's victory avenged a 9-7 regular season loss to third-seeded Maryland (13-3), which had allowed only one opponent to score in double figures during the regular season.
