Norfolk man again arrested while driving intoxicated
STANTON - A Norfolk man with seven prior convictions of driving while intoxicated, was again arrested for the same charge early Monday morning.
According to Sheriff Mike Unger, the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle on Highway 24 about two miles East of Norfolk for driving on the shoulder.
The driver, 49-year-old Mark Ackerman was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DWI, driving on the shoulder, refusal of a preliminary and chemical test and open container of alcohol violation.
Ackerman has an initial court appearance next month in Stanton County Court.
