Norfolkan sentenced to prison in Stanton

STANTON — It’s been a busy week in Stanton County District Court, according to Stanton County officials.

Earlier this week, Douglas Hall, 30, Norfolk, was sentenced to 42 months prison following his conviction on felony charges of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest and refusal to submit to a chemical test (DWI).

Hall was arrested earlier this year by the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office following a high speed chase that ended in Norfolk.

Also sentenced was Robert Schultz, 37, Stanton, who was sentenced to 30 months of probation following his conviction for possession of methamphetamine and child abuse. He was arrested earlier this year in Stanton by the sheriff’s office. His wife, Teri, was also sentenced to probation for her involvement in the case.

Lakyne Faimon, 20, Allen, was sentenced to 18 months of probation on theft related charges. She was arrested earlier this year by the sheriff’s office following a break-in at a rural Pilger residence.

Chris Bouslaugh, 49, Norfolk, was given 24 months of probation following his conviction for possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested earlier this year on Highway 275 east of Norfolk by the sheriff’s office.

Pleading guilty to a felony DWI and driving during suspension was Ryan Wohlman, 38, Norfolk. He was arrested near Norfolk earlier this year by the sheriff’s office following a report of a disturbance. Wohlman has five prior DWI convictions.

Pleading guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine was Ryan Leiting, 36, Norfolk. He was arrested by the sheriff’s office earlier this year near Stanton following the service of search warrant at a rural residence.

Pleading guilty to a felony refusal to submit to a chemical test (DWI) was Benjamin Hill, 43, Norfolk. He was arrested earlier this year by the sheriff’s office near Woodland Park.

Pleading guilty to a second offense of domestic assault, was Seth Bossard, 37, Norfolk. Bossard was arrested by the sheriff’s earlier this year following an investigation into the assault east of Norfolk.

Pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine was Donald Detlefsen, 50, Stanton. He was arrested earlier this year in Stanton by the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office following the service of a search warrant at his Stanton residence.

Pleading guilty to a reduced driving while intoxicated-second was Jannie Heiderman, 23, Woodland Park. She was arrested earlier this year near Woodland Park by the sheriff’s office.
