WCHS-TV reports that the fire started around 3 a.m. Thursday in South Charleston and led to evacuations as the fire spread from house to house. No injuries have been reported.
Officials say the fire started in an abandoned garage apartment. The cause has not been released but inspectors were trying to figure out if there were working utilities inside the garage when the fire started.
