Brazil Resigns As Scranton School District Chief Operations Officer

SCRANTON — The chief operations officer of the Scranton School District turned in his resignation today.

The resignation of Jeff Brazil, whose previous title was director of facilities and grounds, is effective March 29, Superintendent Alexis Kirijan. Ed.D., said.

Brazil, who previously worked as the city’s director of public works, started in the district in 2012. The district will advertise for his position, Kirijan said.

His salary was $91,219.
