Drugs and thefts are part of recent Monroeville police cases

Monroeville police filed the following charges July 17-31 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:

• Rodney Jones, 19, of Penn Hills, with intent to deliver a schedule 1 drug, possession of marijuana , possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and failing to stop at a stop sign. Charges were filed July 17 in connection with a traffic stop along the 4000 block of Old William Penn.

• James P. Gist, 50, of Pittsburgh, with one count of theft. The charge was filed July 21 in connection with an incident along the 400 block of Mall Circle Drive.

• Dylan Pierce, 18, of Monroeville, with simple assault, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed July 22 in connection with an incident at a parking lot along the 200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive.

• Tyrone R. Mathews, 29, of Monroeville, with possession of ecstasy, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed July 25 in connection with a traffic stop along the 3000 block of William Penn Highway.

• James Schutzer, 55, of Pitcairn, with theft. The charge was filed by Pitcairn police July 25 in connection with an incident along the 500 block of Third Street in Pitcairn.

• Kierra Walker, 22, of Penn Hills, with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. The charges were filed July 25 in connection to an incident along the 1300 block of Eagles Nest Lane.

• Crystal J. Steinman, 36, of Trafford, with resisting arrest and three counts of disorderly conduct. The charges were filed by Pennsylvania State Police July 26 in connection with an incident along the 2500 block of Haymaker Road.

• Joseph M. Duffy, 34, of Monroeville, with two counts of simple assault. The charges were filed July 31 in connection with an incident along the 700 block of Garden City Drive.
