Broomfield High School teacher and dance coach Carrie Nitchoff will take the stage with Tim Merz of Booth Dancesport Ballroom.

Originally from Arizona, Nitchoff has called Broomfield home for the last 25 years. She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in nutrition and went on to Regis University where she earned her teaching degree.

Nitchoff teaches science at Broomfield High School and is a Blue Crew Leadership Team coordinator and head pom coach.

She said she is “very proud of our BHS Poms who won the State Hip Hop Championship this year.”

Nitchoff said she “loves being part of the Broomfield High School family and feels so blessed to be able to teach with the best faculty, administration and student body in the state.”

Another one of her “happy places” is at Tara Cluck Dance Center where she teaches dance to 2-to-6 year-olds.

“When she isn’t teaching or coaching, you can find her loving time spent with her two wonderful children, Natalie and AJ,” according to her bio.

Carrie also enjoys yoga, hiking, playing tennis, hanging out at the Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club and spending time with friends.

Carrie said she is “so honored to be part of Broomfield Dancing with the Stars and is excited to help the Broomfield Foundation in the wonderful work they do.”
