3 police officers treated for smoke inhalation at fire

BELMONT, N.H. (AP) — Officers say three police officers responding to fire at a New Hampshire farm have been treated for smoke inhalation.

WMUR-TV reports authorities say the fire broke out Wednesday night at the Laren Farm on Route 107 in Belmont. It was brought under control early Thursday. It spread from a barn to a house.

Everyone inside the house escaped unhurt. Some farm animals died.

The three officers were released from a hospital.
