Wednesday is final day to see gingerbread house
ASHLAND — For a sweet treat, the amazing creations in the gingerbread house display at the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center in Ashland will be available for viewing on Wednesday.
The Highlands Museum and Discovery Center continued its 2018 holiday extravaganza for Ashland and the surrounding community by keeping the theme “Holidays at the Highlands.”
Gingerbread houses submitted by local students and community members have a name and showcases the talents of the builders.
The display started on Dec. 1 and is scheduled to end Wednesday, Jan. 2. The museum is open on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is located at 1620 Winchester Ave., in Ashland.
The Highlands Museum and Discovery Center is a heritage center and science center. The museum displays exhibits on local history and specialized science displays for children along with providing educational outreach programs.
