Two Penn Hills men plead guilty to fatal shooting
Two Penn Hills men on Monday pleaded guilty to fatally shooting a man last November.
Raymond Crumby III, 21, and Tyrelle Duncan, 19, entered guilty pleas to third degree murder stemming from the Nov. 17, 2017 shooting death of Zachery Walls, 28, along the 300 block of Bryant Drive.
Police allege Walls was shot in a fight over drugs. He died in UPMC Presbyterian hospital.
The men appeared before Allegheny County Judge Donna Jo McDaniel. They also pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy, having drugs and illegal gun possession.
Judge McDaniel set a sentencing date for Dec 10.
According to court papers, Walls was found in a Bryant Drive yard. He had been shot numerous times.
Police say Crumby told them he agreed to meet Walls to buy about $950 worth of marijuana.
Police allege the men instead agreed to rob Walls and a fight ensued.
In statements to police, Crumby and Duncan disagree about which one of them shot Walls.
