New features to proclaim, and more of the same
Although the Springs Farmers’ Market has been around for a while, it has not become ho-hum. New things are proclaimed every year, while still offering more of the same. A combination that has been working for more than a quarter of a century.
The Springs Farmers’ Market opens Saturday for the 27th season. It is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will continue and every Saturday until Sept. 21.
It is advised to come early because many vendors are up and running by 6:30 a.m., and are often sold out by 1 p.m.
The farmers market is at 1171 Springs Road, Springs, on the same grounds as the Springs Folk Festival. Parking and admission are free, and it is handicapped accessible. A breakfast/lunch counter serves freshly cooked meals, so there is no need to make a separate stop.
