Daily News’ Bridal show coming to Graystone Saturday
AMBER TWP. — Brides-to-be will be able to get all sorts of ideas and planning done at the Ludington Daily News’ first Bridal Show.
The show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the Graystone Events Center, attached to the Holiday Inn Express, at 4079 W. US-10. Admission is free.
“We’ll have 28 vendors there. It’s our first time (hosting this show). We’re very, very excited about this,” said Daily News Advertising Representative Shelley Kovar, who is heading up the event.
“We just thought it was a perfect time,” she said. “We have enjoyed a great partnership with Graystone Events Center.”
The Daily News and Graystone also work together on the cooking show the newspaper has traditionally done over the years.
But for this particular show, attendees will be able to interact with vendors that cover the wide spectrum of what goes into a wedding — flowers, jewelry, dresses and gowns, catering, photography and more.
“We have vendors from Grand Rapids, Whitehall, Manistee. Really, all around West Michigan (as well as) Ludington,” Kovar said.
Cedar Chest in Ludington will also be having fashion shows from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to show off gowns, bridesmaid dresses and dresses for mothers of those who are getting married.
Plus, those who attend will have an opportunity to win a gift from each of the vendors, Kovar said.
