Teen struck, killed by Amtrak train while riding bicycle
LAKE WORTH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a 17-year-old boy was struck and killed by an Amtrak train while riding his bicycle.
News outlets report the teen rode his bike around the train gates that were down and flashing on Tuesday afternoon in Lake Worth, which is near West Palm Beach.
Officials say the train hit the bike’s rear tire.
