Search crews pull body of man from eastern Nebraska lake

WATERLOO, Neb. (AP) — Police in eastern Nebraska say the body of a man has been pulled from a state recreational area lake following a search for a missing swimmer.

Television station KETV reports that first responders were called Thursday afternoon to Two Rivers State Recreation Area at Waterloo, just west of Omaha.

Authorities launched a water rescue effort shortly before 4 p.m.

Police have not released the victim’s name.
