BLIND HOCKEY

ST. PAUL, Minn. _ A program for blind hockey players is giving both experienced and novice players a chance to get on the ice in Minnesota. The Minnesota Wild began its Blind Hockey program in October. Eighteen players have joined the program. UPCOMING: 250 words, photos.

WINTRY WEATHER

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. _ A large winter storm coming on the heels of Christmas is expected to bring snow to Nebraska, the Dakotas and Minnesota this week. Andrew Kalin, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, said Tuesday that the storm was set to start overnight in the western Dakotas and continue Wednesday into Minnesota. PLYMOUTH, Mich. _ Kelly Pannek is on pace to graduate from the University of Minnesota in the spring with a finance degree and internship experience in wealth management, making her a prime candidate to get hired in the business world.
