Driver killed, passenger seriously hurt in Delaware car
SEAFORD, Del. (AP) — A man was killed and another was seriously injured when the car they were in hit a tree in Delaware.
State police say the crash happened late Wednesday in Seaford. Troopers say 23-year-old Shyheim Kellam-Griffin was speeding at a slight curve when his car led the road, overturned and hit a tree.
Investigators say the impact forced the car back onto its tires and it came to a stop.
Police say Kellam-Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
