Man, woman found shot to death in Louisiana home
PONCHATOULA, La. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies have found two people shot to death in a home in Louisiana.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office told news outlets the victims were found in a home in Ponchatoula early Monday.
Deputies said the victims were 41-year-old Mica Sood Fitzhugh and 44-year-old Robert Wolf.
Sheriff Daniel Edwardes says investigators think the deaths were the result of a domestic dispute. They say they are not looking for any suspects. Deputies had been asked to check on one of the residents when they found the bodies.
Louisiana State Police are assisting deputies with the investigation.
Ponchatoula is about 40 miles (64 kilometers) northwest of New Orleans.
