Agemark named one of national 2018 best workplaces

October 6, 2018

Fortune Magazine and the Great Place to Work organization named Agemark as one of the national 2018 best workplaces.

With more than 850 employees in 20 communities throughout the U.S., Agemark took the No. 13 spot on the Senior Living and Care list.

The Kensington Senior Living Community in Beatrice was one Agemark’s first properties, after the owners chose a historical building to house a senior living in Beatrice.

“This has been our vision for decades, but it is our employees that make it possible,” said Marty Hug, COO. “We are fortunate to have employees who believe in this vision, to make it a reality every single day.”

Agemark earned this award based on feedback from the anonymous, independently-administered survey taken by employees. The survey focuses on the employee work experience, trust in company leadership, fairness and camaraderie. More than 162,000 employees were surveyed from companies across the aging services industry.

Agemark was founded in 1987 with a commitment to developing exceptional communities that focus on making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their families, a press release stated. Agemark got its start with the renovation and adaptive reuse of historic buildings in locations across the United States.
