Nebraska volleyball knocks off Iowa
The third ranked Nebraska volleyball team posted a 3 -1 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in front of over 8,000 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center last night.
Scores of the match had the Huskers winning 25-10, 23-25, 25-15, 25-11. Mikaela Foecke had 20 kills and nine digs while hitting .459, Jazz Sweet had 15 kills and Lexi Sun added 13 kills and 13 digs on .385 hitting as the Big Red won their 14th straight match to improve to 14-1 overall and 5-0 in the Big Ten. Iowa dropped to 10-6 overall and 2-3 in the Big Ten. Nebraska had a .373 to .071 hitting advantage, and freshman setter Nicklin Hames had 47 assists and eleven digs.
