Pregnant woman stabbed to death in building vestibule
NEW YORK (AP) — A woman who was five months pregnant died after she was found with multiple stab wounds to her neck and chest.
The New York Police Department says officers responding to a 911 call around 1 a.m. Sunday found the woman in the vestibule of the apartment building on Myrtle Avenue in Queens.
She was identified as Jennifer Irigoyen, 35, of Queens.
Irigoyen was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police say the unborn child didn’t survive.
An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
