NEW MEXICO COMPOIND

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Five defendants initially arrested by local authorities during a raid at a ramshackle compound in a remote part of New Mexico will make their first appearance in federal court on firearms and conspiracy charges as state prosecutors plan to seek a grand jury indictment on charges related to the death of a 3-year-old boy whose body was found at the compound.
