Maine Tops UML

LOWELL -- The UMass Lowell women’s basketball team fought hard but could not keep pace with Maine in the second half, falling 60-41 on Senior Night on Wednesday night.

Brianna Rudolph moved into second in the program’s Division I career scoring ranks with 14 points on the night. The fifth-year guard has now scored 848 points, surpassing Shannon Samuels’ 836 from 2013-15.

The River Hawks complete the regular season with a 7-22 record with a 3-13 mark in conference play. Maine (21-7, 14-1) used a 15-1 run in the third quarter to take control of what was a 30-28 contest at the half.
