Father, son released from hospitals after Tennessee fire
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A father and son who survived a house fire in Tennessee that killed four people are out of the hospital.
The Commercial Appeal reports that a Facebook post from Collierville Bible Church says Daniel Coudriet and his son Cole have been released from their respective hospitals.
A fire official told The Associated Press that they suffered smoke inhalation in a fire late Sunday that killed Daniel Coudriet’s wife and Cole’s mother, Kari.
Three teens, ages 14, 15 and 17, were killed. Officials say the Coudriet family was hosting them for Christmas while their missionary parents were in India. The family belongs to the church in Collierville, a suburb of Memphis.
Paul Whit is a Collierville fire official. He says the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
