Lynn Brumm -- Hollister, Mo.

Lynn Whelan Brumm, age 74, of Hollister, Mo., passed away Nov. 12, 2018.

He came into this world July 10, 1944, in Rochester, the son of George and Marcia (Whelan) Brumm. He was joined in marriage April 2, 1995, to Debra Peterson.

Lynn was an avid reader and did body work on vehicles. He enjoyed being in the outdoors going boating and snowmobiling. Lynn worked many years in maintenance and utilities for the city of Branson, Mo. Most of all, he treasured time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lynn is preceded in death by his parents; his wife’s parents, Charles and Lucille Peterson; brother-in-law, Vernon Berg; niece, Dr. Natalie Beissel; and aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debra Brumm; daughter, Nicole (Jeff Hohmeister) Brumm of Rochester; stepdaughter, Kendra (John) Pipke of Ozark, Mo.; grandchildren, Sean, Jordan, Hannah, Gretta, Jarron, and Korigan; great-granddaughter, Amelia; two brothers, Michael (Sue) Brumm and George (Ann) Brumm, both of Rochester; sister, Ann (Dave) Horseman of Pine Island; five sisters-in-law, Jeanne Berg of Wanamingo, Donna (Rick Wilson) Peterson of Rochester, Lonna (Roger) Beissel of Lakeville, Carol (Leroy) Dahling of Cannon Falls, and Linda (Rolland) Quade of Goodhue; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 9 at the Branson Gospel Church in the Hamner Theater, Branson, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
